Thanks. Sadly, I actually learned years ago there's no point talking to MS. They've always screwed things up worse in the past AND usually just try to pass the buck. But in that same vein, if Windows Updates are making Epson Scan, etc. not work....it seems like Epson ALSO isn't a great company because they, too, are not providing newer drivers that would work with newer updates of Windows 10. My roommate wants to just buy a new scanner, but my issue is. What happens then, when that one is rendered useless as well. These things aren't "cheap" to just keep replacing. GRrrrrr.
The fact that this issue is being seen only in Epson scanner software makes it easy to trace the source of the problem.
