No, it does’t help.
Epson scanner will not work with latest windows 10 update
My epson perfection v700 scanner (that allows me to scan photos, negatives, documents, etc.) and that I paid over $800 for) stopped working with teh latest update two days ago. I've downloaded a new driver and other software from Epson and it doesn't work. Can I uninstall this update? I like my scanner a whole lot more than I like Windows.

2020-02-28T10:34:33+00:00 I had a issue with the Epson GT-S50 Scanner as well. The scanner window would open in the task bar but not on screen. I tried removing and reinstalling the drivers but that didn't work. Tried Alt+M to move the screen but that didn't help.
My solution: I used Windows Key + Shift + (directional keys a few times) the scanner window eventually opened up on screen.
Needless to say this is very frustrating.

2020-02-19T06:09:17+00:00 After reading several of the replies , I thought I'd add one more note.
Between June and September 2018, I was running windows 7 enterprise and had the same issue arise. I never figured out which windows update caused the problem. Something corrupted the registry and no matter what I tried my system would no longer recognize my Epson scanner. By Sept 2018 I decided that I needed to reinstall windows , If I needed to reinstall, it might as well be windows 10.
My system is currently running win 10 pro 1909, OS Build 18363.693 with my V750 ,using Epson Scan and SilverFast. I've never had an issue with Windows 10. -
all up dates are current as of 3/6/2020 - still running fine with latest update

2020-01-14T16:53:01+00:00 I was able to recover my old computer with a program I created for getting zapped written back in the windows 3.11 days (batch and assembler).
Unfortunately my window10 returned with a questionable license (I could not get the ke to display) but reported to be build 1709, that worked with the printer (multi-function) and hopefully scanner soon as I fix the "unable to Create work folder" which is more than likely a UAC permissions issue and needs a re-install under admin.
Everything works fine under windows Xp however...., however tell that to customer service at Epson and they will disown you !
