Hello,

0xC1900101 is generic error code and points to driver incompatibility while you opt to upgrade. You need to read the dialog, which likely came before this error message. There should be additional information with the detail. The dialog will tell you what devices are having a problem. That is the one you need to get a new driver for.

Once you fixed the driver(s) mentioned with detail, the error will no longer persist.

Hope this helps!

It didn't work for me... Neither disabling all intel related stuff in the BIOS.

    I'm quite disappointed.

I have tried just about everything and it just refuses. My next attempt will be a clean install on a different hard drive. Windiws 10 is proving to be worse than Vista. If this doesn't work it will be Linux from now on.

This is the 3rd time this year Microsoft updates have stopped me using my PC.

I have had a laptop tanked by updates this year, and now presumably, they are trying to

    tank my PC.

I used to love Microsoft, but this is unacceptable.

What if I buy a new computer, not so great for the environment, who guarantees updates will not

have problems and destroy that computer.

I'm pretty computer literate, and am appalled that the testing before releasing an updates is so poor.

Look at all the people reporting problems on this update alone.

My computer was working great yesterday, now it's a drag just to get it turned back on.

I am writing this just in case Microsoft does not understand how much damage they are are doing to their reputation.

Would love to just get on with my work.
