Hello,

0xC1900101 is generic error code and points to driver incompatibility while you opt to upgrade. You need to read the dialog, which likely came before this error message. There should be additional information with the detail. The dialog will tell you what devices are having a problem. That is the one you need to get a new driver for.

Once you fixed the driver(s) mentioned with detail, the error will no longer persist.

Hope this helps!

I have this error also 0xc1900101, I pressed the pause update for 35 days. Should be enough time to order a mac book pro.

After a couple of tedious tries I decided to permanently skip 1803 (using wushowhide.diagcab, keeping it hidden )

I have 3 more PCs where the upgrade worked and its hard to tell the difference. This particular box has limited functions and I'll just wait until the next build comes out.

This particular upgrade takes a long time to run, if people could charge Microsoft $5/h for downtime, Windows Update would bankrupt the company.

After having to reinstall windows 14 times in less than a year, losing dozens of hours every month, and hundreds since the windows 10 change, I ordered a Mac Book Pro yesterday an, then changed 2 of 3 existing machines to Ubuntu. I'm tired of being a beta tester and having updates shoved down my throat, and then when there is a problem the solution always comes down to having to do a clean install, like it's no big deal; This would be unacceptable in any other industry. Maybe when Microsoft starts losing hundreds of millions in the class action lawsuits that are springing up everywhere they will learn a lesson!
