I also don't have this app installed. I am trying to work out what is different between the one machine which fails and the others which have worked. Some obvious differences:
* was on 17134.1 and not 17134.7 as that update was blocked (running Windows Mixed Reality headset)
* running Windows Mixed Reality headset and software
* has Corel photo and video editing, which both have supporting services
* has TomTom Home installed which seems to have a service associated
* has Nero software installed which also has a helper service
* has Epson scanner software which has a related service
* has GOG Galaxy installed which has related services
* uses services for Syncovery file copy/sync software
Other services which I have but which seem to have been ok as worked on other machine/s:
* Adobe Elements related services
* IObit Uninstaller service
* ASUS hardware related services
* Steam and Origin related services
If anyone else has a similar set of services and is facing the same issue, maybe we can compare notes to see if we can find the other causes. I'd rather see if there are any other possible causes that we can find before I try the update again - don't want
the pain of having to recover it, although looks like the Safe Mode recovery process seems to be pretty reliable based on others' experience - which is good, as System Restore seems to be problematic for me on this machine!
