Microsoft license key/IP address scam

I have been receiving multiple calls all day today on my landline with the same scenario...automated woman's voice claiming my license keywas going to be deactivated because my IP address had been compromised & in several countries, too. I was instructed that they needed to change my IP address & to press 1 to be transferred to a support technician. I hung up, but as stated Ive received at least 10/15 calls from the same number. Any advice as to how I put an end to these calls?? 

There really isn't any way to stop these especially now that the number that is calling is your own home phone. But I have had some success by keeping them on the phone asking questions about how bad is this thing you are trying to fix.  I NEVER type the website they are directing me too. I try and keep them on the phone for 20 minutes if I have the time. They usually get mad and start swearing at me and if they do call back as soon as they realize who it is they hang up. except the call claims that FOREIGN COUNTRIES are the danger...which would make any U.S laws n/a.  China is actively subverting the United States. Just saying.

I did try to hold and it hung up on me and has not called back again..it has only been 30 min tho.  are patriots being targeted as part of chinas subversive operations?  I think so..

The robo voice said it was microsoft, that my windows license key was going to be deactivated because my IP address had been compromised from several different countries and they needed to set up a new IP address for me. I was then transferred to a person. Couldn't understand them so hung up. Is any of my information compromised, also concerned that the caller ID on my cell phone was my cell phone number?

Microsoft does not send unsolicited email messages or make unsolicited phone calls to request personal or financial information, or to provide technical support to fix your computer. Any communication with Microsoft has to be initiated by you. If a notification appears with a phone number, don't call the number.Jan 17, 2019

I told them that if Microsoft wanted to contact me they need to put it in writing and mail me a letter.  No one over the phone is going to get my computer's IP address.  Is any of my information compromised, also concerned that the caller ID on my cell phone was my cell phone number?
