Microsoft Refund Dept.

I also received a call from "Microsoft Refund Dept.". Since I didn't pick up they left a computer generated message stating her name as Kathy Jackson from tech support and to call 877 721  7434. for my refund. The reason I am posting this is I wanted to see if anyone else received such messages. Imagine my surprise when I realized the first comment about this subject was posted 2013!!! That was five years ago. Five years of people being scammed, losing money and whatever else. How could this still be happening without them being stopped? And the first one I saw was from the Netherlands, meaning this is an international scam.  AND it was on this site. Doesn't anyone at Microsoft oversee their own site?

As it has been said these types of messages and calls are SCAM and you should NEVER call or response them.

If you face such issue, make sure report it to Microsoft:

I'm receiving similar phone calls. I believe Microsoft would not call but contact us through our account email or by mail. Phone scams most likely.

I just received the phone call today. Didn't bother answering and new it was a scam right away. The computer generated message is already sketchy to begin with.
