I also received a call from "Microsoft Refund Dept.". Since I didn't pick up they left a computer generated message stating her name as Kathy Jackson from tech support and to call 877 721  7434. for my refund. The reason I am posting this is I wanted to see if anyone else received such messages. Imagine my surprise when I realized the first comment about this subject was posted 2013!!! That was five years ago. Five years of people being scammed, losing money and whatever else. How could this still be happening without them being stopped? And the first one I saw was from the Netherlands, meaning this is an international scam.  AND it was on this site. Doesn't anyone at Microsoft oversee their own site?

    These callers from different phone number's are definitely a scam.  Report all of these calls to law enforcement agencies and FBI Internet Crimes Unit.... website located under US Government with forms and phone numbers to call.  Good Luck!

    I also recieved 6 calls two from computer and 4 from Robert James  says trying to refund me 299 .00  says he is with Microsoft wants access to my computer
