Same here, ended up having to hold down Shift key as I clicked Restart from the power icon in corner of log in screen. Then selected Reset PC/keep personal files.

I am unable to login into my computer (windows 10). I get the message “your pin is no longer available due to a change the security settings on this device. You can set up your pin again by going to settings/accounts/siding options.” There are no other options for signing in. Does anyone know what to do to login?

2020-05-14T14:29:37+00:00 I am having this same problem. I hit reset my pin which never works the first time. I have to tell it to reset my pin twice before it will give me the box to enter my Microsoft password. Then I reset my pin to what it was. It will work then for a few weeks and then I am right back to square one. It always seems to pick when I am in a hurry to get on the computer to pull this little attention seeking maneuver. Does anyone know of a way to get it to stop doing this?

2020-05-07T14:01:00+00:00 yeah i did login with my password and succeeded with that. the thing is i can't use my pin and my fingerprint, and i just want the convenience. also my computer, or windows explorer to be more exact, runs really slowly after that happened. so i finally reset my computer, and reinstalled everything, so theres that. quite a hassle but at least everythings working fine now. hope it won't happen again
Once you log in, you have to go delete your pin, then re-add it and you will be able to use your pin again.
