Same here, ended up having to hold down Shift key as I clicked Restart from the power icon in corner of log in screen. Then selected Reset PC/keep personal files.
Your PIN is no longer available
I am unable to login into my computer (windows 10). I get the message “your pin is no longer available due to a change the security settings on this device. You can set up your pin again by going to settings/accounts/siding options.” There are no other options for signing in. Does anyone know what to do to login?

2020-05-06T16:07:47+00:00 yeah i did login with my password and succeeded with that. the thing is i can't use my pin and my fingerprint, and i just want the convenience. also my computer, or windows explorer to be more exact, runs really slowly after that happened. so i finally reset my computer, and reinstalled everything, so theres that. quite a hassle but at least everythings working fine now. hope it won't happen again

2020-05-06T15:59:06+00:00 Man, not knowing the password is a kick in the butt for sure... one option would be using to follow the information on this link to reset your forgotten password. You will need the install disc
Reset Forgotten Windows 10 Password")
outside of that, there is a utility somewhere on the net that you can download and burn to disc or usb that boots into a linux system and has a utility to remove the windows password.
