Error Code: 0x80072f76 0x20017. Windows media creation tool.

I've disabled the defender and other software for malware and virus protection and tried moving the executable to desktop and then launching it. I don't have an idea whats wrong with it! Any help is much appreciated.

I was able to solve it on a 2016 Lenovo laptop by disabling antivirus until next reboot and pointing my DNSs to Google Ones.

Hope this helps someone else as well.

    Hi,

    Your PC may have system error files, try SFC /scannow in DOS CMD mode, update any programs?hope this will help.

    Worked till about 26%. Then got a new error code "0x80042405 - 0xA001A"
