Battery Draining In Alcatel Idol 4S

I have an Alcatel Idol 4S with windows 10 and when it is not being used the battery drains completely in one day. What is causing this?

    Helo W10M P,

    The fact that it happened 4/5 months after you purchased the phone could very well be a defective battery, sometimes that happened, not it the first or second time you charge the battery, but after a while.

    Can you explain point nº 2 better: “When the battery level is recovered from 6% to its' original level you just can use the phone for many where it just uses power in a normal gradual way”

    I do not think it is the battery for two reasons:

    1The phenomenom occurred just 4 5 months after I bought the phone new 

    2 When the battery level is recovered from 6% to its' original level you just can use the phone for many where it just uses power in a normal gradual way

    Hi all,

    What you are describing here is typical of a damaged battery. The battery on the Idol is not removable, so first try to load with an AC adapter that you tested and made sure that it’s working well.

    If that does not help in any way, then the next step should be test the battery. If you have good technical skills open the phone and teste the battery, if you don’t. send to a technician to test the battery.

    Alcatel idol 4 pro,build 10.0.15254.562 firmware 1052.16.10011.51400, try to improvise with this problem by a quick connect to my powerbank which immediately recovers to its' former battery level. The battery is not the problem, I think the software sometimes does not know what to do...

    Exactly the same issue - drops to 6%, always. I connect it to a charger for 1-2 seconds and it jumps to 20-45%.
