Black screen with cursor after Windows 10 update

How to fix windows 10 after update the screen after login is complete black with cursor, but nothing works, task manager wont start. I've tried to go on safe mode but all most the same thing happens, the it starts as safe mode, but I cant use anything, task manager don't work in safe mode, no CTRL +x.

I don't know what to do.

    Hello all,

    I found a fix for this issue through following steps.

    For issue were you are getting black screen with white cursor

    >Press Ctrl+Alt+Del

    >Go to 'Services' tab

    >Look for 'AppReadiness'

    >Right click and stop it.

    Make sure you disable the same after login into Windows.

    >Click start and type 'Services'

    >Look for 'AppReadiness'

    >Right click and select 'Properties'

    >Startup type should be set to 'Disabled'

    >Set the 'Service Status' to Stopped.

    This solution worked for me. Let me know if this worked for others as well.

    I have used this method many times with great success. Also if someone is unable to see the login screen because of a black screen with a white cursor all you have to do is press the space bar once then enter your pin or password.

    Hi Cntl alt del does not bring up anything on the screen.Still remains blank with mouse curser.A hard reset on the desktop fixes it but the problem may not reoccur for a few days.

    • Were there any significant hardware/software changes done on your computer prior to this happening?
    • What is the current version/build of your Windows 10 PC? To check, type winver on Cortana's search field and press Enter.
    • Are you able to see the Start menu, task bar, and your desktop icons?
    • Besides restarting your computer, have you tried any other troubleshooting steps?

    How stupid are you guys? I have the same problem and all I can do is move the cursor around on the screen with nothing in the background, not even a taskbar. The keyboard is unresponsive. It’s not the keyboard that is the problem, or the USB port.

    I have used this method many times with great success. On another note, If you are unable to see your login page just press space bar then enter your credentials. This happens after the Windows 10 1709 Creators Update.
