How to undo a "scheduled folder"

So, on my phone, I accidentally made one of my folders "scheduled."  Now that folder has a clock next to it's name instead of a folder icon.  I don't know what I did to make that happen.  I don't know what a "scheduled" folder is.  I don't know what benefits I get from having a "scheduled" folder, but I don't want it to be that way.  In fact, I attempted to delete the folder on the outlook.com web app, but the "scheduled" folder continues to appear on my Android Outlook (formerly Acompli) app.  

Can anyone tell me how to undo what I've done?  And can anyone point me to any documentation which would explain what a "scheduled" folder is and why I might want one?

    For some reason I can't see the Scheduled folder on my Desktop only on my app. This might have been caused by a Shortcut using the keyboard. I don't know how to get the folder back on my desktop I'm using the web version.

    Jessie G, the information you shared I don't have any of it on my Samsung Galaxy Samsung 8+ , i'm trying to remove a schedule folder or delete the folder, even to add one.

    This is the information i am talking about I copied it from your post

    In Outlook on phone, open your inbox and select the settings icon on the top right. Under accounts select your account, if you have multiple accounts.  Select Advanced Settings and you will see Scheduled under system folders. Select Scheduled and choose the new garbage folder and ok.

    Hello,

    I raised a ticket with Microsoft App Support (which was very helpful).  Their recommendations were to try resetting the app and then to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.  The uninstall and reinstall work and corrected the issue.

    I deleted my outlook on my android phone and reinstalled it, I still have the schedule by the folder. When I send emails to the folder it ask me to set a schedule time. :( 

    I cannot get the schedule off.
