How to undo a "scheduled folder"

So, on my phone, I accidentally made one of my folders "scheduled."  Now that folder has a clock next to it's name instead of a folder icon.  I don't know what I did to make that happen.  I don't know what a "scheduled" folder is.  I don't know what benefits I get from having a "scheduled" folder, but I don't want it to be that way.  In fact, I attempted to delete the folder on the outlook.com web app, but the "scheduled" folder continues to appear on my Android Outlook (formerly Acompli) app.  

Can anyone tell me how to undo what I've done?  And can anyone point me to any documentation which would explain what a "scheduled" folder is and why I might want one?

    I have the same problem, does anyone know how to remove scheduled folder?

    I am having trouble with sending email to the folder it wants me to set a schedule time.

    This worked for me as well.  Little tricky getting the folder emptied before it could escape.  I had given up, but am very happy to see this stupid folder is finally gone.

    That worked for me too !  I have Windows 10 and Outlook on my computer.  On Outlook, I made a right click on the specific file with the clock and chose 'Move to Folder' and I chose the basket.  I then immidiately emptied the basket and ... IT IS GONE !!!  After more than 2 years, this worked.  I checked on the web version of Hotmail ... And the file is no longer :)

    Right, I'm using company's exchange server. But it does not matter, from Outlook app I made folder scheduled and I was not able to disable that scheduling neither from the app nor from Webmail outlook. That is already a stupid bug.

    Surely, there might be many other coupled/relevant bugs and issues.

    Finally it worked for me. I logged in into Webmail outlook of my organisation and deleted that folder having clock/scheduled mark on it. As I understand this solution does not work for everybody. Perhaps there are some specific pre-conditions or circumstances when solution works or doesn't. In anyway, I made that folder scheduled from Outlook app in Android phone. The folder was empty. I hope it helps to somebody.

    Shame on you Microsoft with all your poorly implemented functionalities and incorrectly handled object properties.

    So youre talking about an e-mail with domain associated with the company you work for?  Ex:  ******@companyA.com

    If so, that means they are using a exchange server.

    In my case I am using a free hotmail/outlook account ending in @hotmail.com wich is different in some way to what I presume you are using...
