The negative comments about Microsoft do not help any the WLM users looking for answers.  Various replies members offered remedies to make WLM work with the last patch. Mine works well in conjunction with W10 and by and large, so it does for others. For those having difficulties, go through the various answers provided by community members; there are workable remedies there.

I think you are partially correct.  Users should be civil in their criticism of Microsoft, but Microsoft has the major responsibility to support their product and not to leave its users, some not qualified to figure out technical workarounds, to fend for themselves.  Microsoft has admitted they have a problem, know what the core issue is and are working to fix it.

WE NEED TO HEAR AN UPDATE FROM MICROSOFT!

Unfortunately, the web browser doesn't have many of the features found in WLM...and it's PAINFULLY slow for us dial-up users to navigate (YES...we still exist).

Because of the unreliability of WLM, I've been slowly and reluctantly making the switch over to Gmail. It's amazing how many things are tied into your email address!

Thanks Microsoft for screwing up something as simple as sending and receiving email!!!

There are still issues with WLM. I just created and sent an email and it disappeared completely so who knows if its sent or not  . I had to rewrite it again and fortunately The 2nd attempt it  posted  but took ages to appear in the sent folder, again with the usual issues as stated in above ( Message 'sent to' column STILL shows the recipients name with the account column empty & Emails sent take ages to appear in the sent folder , and don't show in the outbox , they are in limbo somewhere ) .

WLM is not reliable anymore , but works via the web browser!
