Universal mobile keyboard won't work

Thanks for the info, 1 more for the junk pile of these babies are now in the mail for amazon for refund.

The only solution is to replace the keyboard, as it's​ a manufacturing flaw with the solder on the power socket.

Microsoft seem not to acknowledge it, although someone has apparently got them to swap the keyboard. I eventually just bought the folding keyboard on eBay, which is nearly the same price and doesn't have the fault.

I have exactly the same problem. Any help from Microsoft?

I came into contact with Microsoft support via facebook.

Microsoft have mine replaced with another portable one.

This time, the keyboard does work with mobility.

However, there is a bit of flaw.

One of the keys was switched. @ became " and " became @.

Since I don't use these keys often, I think it is still acceptable.

Yes, I agree. There seem to be two main issues reported with this keyboard.

1. Your issue is that it is incompatible with Windows 10 on mobile phones, which has been reported by other people. I would argue that problem is actually a Windows 10 issue, as the keyboard worked on previous Windows mobile versions but stopped working when those phones upgraded.
2. The other issue, and the one experienced by most people on this thread, is an issue with the hardware itself. In that the keyboard works perfectly while charging, but does not even power on when the charger cable is removed. This problem can be immediate, or occur over time, and seems to be the result of bad soldering on the power socket.

Since your issue is the Windows 10 mobile incompatibility, I would suggest you need to start a new thread, as this thread is discussing the hardware issue. I hope you get a good result! Good luck, I'm not convinced Microsoft gives a damn about either issue quite honestly!
