Windows defender keep asking to update every 2nd day....

Hi

windows defender is keep asking to update it every 2nd day, action centre displays the notification about out of date  windows defender, when i open it windows defender completes the update as normally and than the other day it appears again.

any solutions to this??

    i have the same setting almost from 2 years, than why suddenly windows defender causing this problem?

    i have the same setting almost from 2 years, than why suddenly windows defender causing this problem? i perform registry cleaner after i uninstall a software which is not very often .   

     i appreciate your efforts trying to help me.

    1 = yes on enabling defaults setting, windows defender auto update itself through windows update. it didn't show notification either, but the problem is same, it keep out of dating every 2nd date.

    2 = near april 2013 

    3= no

    4 = KB3049563     ( 02 june - 15)

          KB3057839      (28 june- 15)

    5 = KB3074219       (03 july- 15)

    6= no

    i m using ccleaner almost from the start.

    my update setting is check for updates but let me choose whether to install them. 

    1. If you change your Automatic Updates setting to the default Automatic setting then wait a day or two, does Defender auto-update itself and do the "you need to update Defender" prompts disappear?
    • Windows Defender will only auto-update when Automatic Updates (AU) is set to the default Automatic setting.
    • If all were well with your computer (and I think that may NOT be the case), you shouldn't see "you need to update Defender" prompts unless Defender's Definitions are 7 or more days out-of-date when AU is set to the "Check for updates but..." configuration.
    1. Can you give us an idea as to when you did the clean install of Windows 8?
    2. Have you ever done a Refresh or a Reset since you did the clean install of Windows 8?
    3. When (exact dates) were KB3049563 & KB3057839 installed according to Installed Updates (not Update History)? [1]
    4. When (exact date) was KB3074219 installed according to your Update History (this time)?
    5. Do you have backups of ALL the changes CCleaner's Registry Cleaner component has EVER made to the computer? [1]
