Sync Center is still there in Windows 10 (Windows key + X > click Control Panel)
Windows Mobile Device Center Compatibility with Windows 10
Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10? There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC. I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1. So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10. Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this. Thx everyone.

2017-06-16T06:48:00+00:00 It may help but look around for WMDC-Helper.exe
this utility seemed to fix no end of the niggling issues with not responding to cradling or the WMC not firing up, corrects app permission and registry issues.
I have recently built a clean build of win10 and installing mobile sdk, power utills and allsorts would not bring back functionality until I came across it
full details here
I definitely recommend a read, pretty much worked instantly
For the longer issue of WMS not always responding to cradling, well that's still out their. manually starting WMC will pick up the cradled unit although its a pain.

2015-11-24T16:11:28+00:00 The tip provided by Saq0 helped me to connect MC55A0 to my Windows 10 workstation. The trick was to uncheck "Enable advanced network functionality" found under Settings > Connections > USB to PC on the MC55A0. After disabling the setting WMDC started automatically and I was able to copy files in total size of over 100 MB to the MC55A0 without any issues. Just to clarify, I'm not trying to sync the device with computer, just copy some files.
