Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10? There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC. I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1. So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10. Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this. Thx everyone.

2015-10-05T16:39:10+00:00 I found that running the WMDC 6.1 installer in Vista SP2 compatibility mode has resolved the download issue. It still crashes sometimes but this should work for us.

2015-09-11T20:56:49+00:00 Same problem here. I've tried everything including a brand new Windows 10 installation followed immediately by installation of WMDC to rule out any potential conflicts with existing software.
Hopefully an update will be available soon although I wouldn't hold my breath!

2015-09-07T23:56:54+00:00 I managed to get Microsoft Mobile Device Centre to work on Windows 10 by un-installing the programme and then re-installing it. If you don't have a copy of MMDC go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/931937. Worked when connecting an old HTC running windows mobile 6.5 pro.
