Windows Mobile Device Center Compatibility with Windows 10

Is or will Windows Mobile Device Center be compatible with Windows 10?  There are some legacy devices that require sync with WMDC and then there are security personnel that do not allow devices to connect to their Wi-Fi but rather connect them via USB using WMDC.  I was able to get WMDC to work successfully on Windows 8 and 8.1.  So far I have not heard any news in regards to Windows 10.  Looking forward to hearing results and or news regarding this.  Thx everyone.

Sync centre is not the same as mobile device centre.

It lacks functionality needed for those legacy devices.

I had Sync centre installed (as default w10) and still needed to install WMDC as otherwise devices don't see the PC.

even then on W10 only connection through Bluetooth were working not through USB.

My device connects OK.  I can see files on it.  I can sync documents.  But, most importantly, I cannot sync Outlook contacts or calendar.  Microsoft doesn't talk to Microsoft and Sync Centre doesn't!!!  We are obviously a very small percentage of Microsoft customers and don't generate loads of revenue therefore we don't matter.

I had this same issue on Windows 10, I uninstalled Mobile Device Center and all drivers, Reinstalled Mobile Device Center with compatibility setting of Visa service pack 2 , then plugged unit in and everything worked as before.
