Microsoft Picture It! Premium 10

I have been using Microsoft Picture It! Premium 10 (mpi10) with Windows XP for quite some time until just recently when I bought a new computer with Windows 8.1.  However, when I tried to install mpi10 on my new computer, I realized the two weren't compatible.

I really like mpi10, & I work with pictures quite often.  Question is... is there a way to make it compatible, or is there another photo editing software that it compares with, that is compatible with Windows 8.1, & that I can download from your site?

Yes, as per the compatibility status on Windows Compatibility center is concerned, Microsoft Picture It is not compatible with Windows 8.1. Refer to the link to get the details:

    Yes I used picture-it since it came out in 1999 for xp really do miss how easy it was to use and all the things I could do with it and edit pics like a pro with know school knowledge  you need to day they had a winner and as all things they couldn't be happy and just leave it alone I would still be using picture it to day if I could but I did find PHOTO EXPLOSION DELUXE version 5 doesn't have all the features that picture-it 1999 had which I would gladly pay 100.00$ for you messed up Microsoft you lost a lot of picture-it people think of all the sales you are missing out on some things should be left alone Bill Gates

    My antivirus told me also "trouble ahead"  from getpaint website. I am not taking a chance with a brand new system here. So I am still looking for a good editing program.

    Is there a Microsoft Picture It program that can be loaded into Windows 10.  Picture It was one of the best programs you ever sold and now that I upgraded to Windows 10 it will not function.  What a bummer!.  Why does progress always seem to be really regression in many aspects to the nerds that design the programs?

    I used it a lot. If not can anybody advise another programme free or to buy......
