Any news from Microsoft on a solution to this patch issue?

I had a nightmare on Sunday - tried to install the Windows 7 security updates and it blue-screened - rebooted - blue screened again - rebooted Windows tried to revert and blue screened again, and again.

I managed to break the cycle by booting into safe mode - blue screened once then rebooted into safe mode again and it stopped the cycle.

All previous updates had been applied.

Oops. I was referring to Cryptolocker.  If these security updates are not for that, what are they for I wonder?

    In Win7 64-bit SP1, KB2862330 addresses the vulnerability in CVE-2013-3200.
