    There's a CBS log on the disk.  You can do a system scan to determine if the machine has disk corrruption that this update is reacting to.  You can get specs of the machine.  We know your machine does indeed get impacted.  Any data point is another key to help others.

    That's one point of view. Another is hot dogs and buns.

    Both patches are to address USB vulnerabilities.

    I somehow installed 2862330 on 3 PCs running windows 7 SP1 64-bit+MSE with no problem whatsoever. Also, they all had 2533552 installed back in May. What information can I provide that may help?

    Apples & oranges. KB2807986 (MS13-027) addressed vulnerabilities CVE-2013-1285, CVE-2013-1286 & CVE-2013-1287 whereas KB2862330 (MS13-081) addresses CVE-2013-3200.
