Personally find Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 great... so much better than Windows 7 now that they are not forcing the start screen onto desktops. Love it... and having the store is a valuable and useful feature, allowing someone to easily install or remove
an app... BUT...
Not being able to remove an old junk app that you tested and found out was a waste of time is SILLY!
Please allow one to permanently remove an app from app history. I really find it annoying when re-installing an OS and having all these dumb old apps show up as something to be re-installed. To spend weeks trying to find a better music app in the past, most
of them junk, and then have to constantly look at that list of junk apps is a horrible user experience... I never want to see them again!
I understand wanting to see some history... i.e. I like being able to see if I had tried an app in the past or not. But at least keep the "history" separate from the "my apps". You should be able to remove apps from the active "my apps" list, even if some
history is retained. That said, you should have the ability to remove from history too just in case you don't want any record of what was installed.
I'm confident that Microsoft has their OWN tracking and history database, so it's not like they will ever lose that history and they can still communicate stats to the developers. But there is no reason to keep that history if the CUSTOMER does not want
it.
Much like the new OneDrive implementation in Windows 10, not allowing users to clear an app from history and/or their "apps" is the wrong choice. Please fix! 3 years of complaints should be enough prodding! Thanks!
