Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

I can't believe after 3 years this feature still isn't included... I hate Windows 8.1 you might as well hand it over to Apple it's that locked down, not being able to delete apps from the history is pointless. When I bought my [Toshiba] laptop there was so much pre-installed bloat programs and apps that I had to uninstall now they're all sitting in my Store history so when I want to re-install an app again because Windows crashes that many times I have to keep factory resetting it I have to sift through dozens apps to find the ones I want to re-download. This is a tiny feature that should be included.

It's apparently not a feature because if a user deletes the history and wants to reinstall it later they have to search for it again so just allow people to remove each app individually? Windows really need to take some pointers from Google or I'm moving to a Linux based system.

Completely agree with you. There is a lot wrong with the Windows Store as it is. This is one that irritates me to death. If I uninstalled it, I did it for a reason. If I want it back it takes nothing to enter the name of the app in the search bar and find it again. It's that simple. Give users the choice. It isn't okay to assume you know what is best for us.
