Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

    Hello,

Here's my two cents. I have apps that I used to use and are no longer available. Yet they're in My Apps. Now iTunes has a choice for users to delete apps why can't Windows? I just think it's more to do with laziness, that's why there is no delete option in windows store.

well there are microsoft support engineers in this forum too, who actually could pass on topics like this.

but i agree we can close this thread, it has ceased being of any value, since the last "official" reply was way ofer a year ago.

microsoft clearly is not interested in the least to address issues like this anytime soon (at least they have started cleaning out the ****- and fraudware in the store now).

if an option to clean the install-history ever comes along i will give the shop another chance. until then not a single new metro/new-ui app will find its way on my pc or surface2. its as easy as that. its their own sales they are hurting with missing basic functionality like that ... as if those sales were not measly enough to start with. its sad to see microsoft drop the ball so badly on the surrounding infrastructure of windows 8, it is such a gread os in general.

The android also has a history of uninstalled applications but additional option is the ability to remove them. I have confidence that I will not install them, so I delete them and leave the rest (uninstalled). I think you should enter this option, because as I spoil applications Modern UI and I have to reinstall everything then in the junglethe non-installed applications that I use, and those which will not be used longer (I downloaded them, to test) it can lead to a long search and nervousness. Regards ! ;)
