Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

This App store design is stupid. What if I tried 1000 apps. I will have them in the history and if I want to install one of them later. This is equal to look for it again in the whole store. Please fix your stupid design and let us decide if we want history or not.

i have had to REBOOT my system no JOKE 9 times now, ACER wont provide a PRODUCT KEY to me which it states in MICROSOFT agreement with me, "if pre-installed" contact the company whose name is on the computer, I contact ACER, they cannot provide such things.  So I contact Microsoft and they say contact ACER.  Total back and forth stuff.  Everytime out of these 9 times contacting either MICROSOFT or ACER, EVERYTIME, there answer is just, "REBOOT THE SYSTEM."

I GUESS WHAT I AM SAYING IS THE 12 OR 13 FULL DAYS OF REPROGRAMMING MY APPS AND OTHER VARIOUS DEVICES, PRINTERS, DRIVERS, MY TIME MUST NOT BE WORTH A DIME......

OH thanks for the reply also KARTHIK, much appreciated....Meanwhile I though I was doing something wrong.......

I think this is an unfair and deceptive practice which is a violation of Article 15.  The fact you DON'T allow the user to eliminate those traits, applications is the same monopoly tactic that got Microsoft in trouble in the first place.  It's fracking is bad business.  FIX THIS, understand?

The fact this is advertisement and serves no purpose but to monopolize my time, my resources and is very much bloatware is a nasty and unethical practice.  UNDERSTAND?  In you next interation of this terrible OS, ditch the fracking advertisements.

It's on more reason why I HATE Window 8.  HATE,HATE,HATE,HATE,HATE,HATE,HATE,HATE, this fracking OS.

Designed like that? I Doubt it. Just covering mistakes. Still cant add a desktop icon from the start menu. Must be designed like that!! no just didn't actually do any work or test with windows 8 b4 putting on sale. Obvious people need simple functions like that while working. Has any of the simple niggles been addressed? No! Doing Windows 10 instead. Get take another 200 quid per customer all over again! If you didn't own market people wouldn't except it. Your just lucky you can treat people this way. if there were rival  products we'd tell you to go **** yourselves. If something comes out which trumps directx 12 your dead in the water and everybody will happily watch Microsoft drown saying to their friends 'its designed to do that ya know'. Your paving the way for Appleworkstations and gaming pcs like steam boxes. How you going to compete if you make statements like that instead of just adding a couple of functions?? if openGL type projects overtake directx its over, there will each aspect dealt with by better OS's and no place for **** half-works Microsoft.
