How to remove Duplicate Email from inbox Live Mail.

Use the Thunderbird add-on which removes duplicates

Stay in Thunderbird:)

There is no way to do it in WLM

To remove and then redo the account will CAUSE the duplication of emails.

Microsoft Windows Live Mail is GREAT!

Out of the blue . . . I start getting DOZENS of duplicates of my emails.  Really great software that we pay for when we purchase a computer!

Then Microsoft says to just remove your account and then replace it.  Unfortunately you didn't say there is a lot of other garbage. 

Now my emails are all gone and I can't get any emails or reference my other received emails . . . hey . . . this Microsoft is great. 

You people actually get paid for this kind of garbage!!!!!

I keep having the same answer , like many other live mail users: “To reconfigure the account.”

I as many other people already have done it but NO BODY answer what the question is: how to remove the duplicated messages we already have.

Thank you for posting back. I know that this issue brings complications within your Windows Live Mail and your emails. For us to give you the correct resolution, kindly provide us the detailed steps you've taken on how did you end up to this condition. In addition, if you are using a @hotmail.com, @live, @msn or outlook.com account, configuring your account in Live Mail should not delete/lose your emails.

If you want to make sure that your emails will not be lost, kindly back your emails by referring to this Microsoft article "**How do I import and export email, contacts, and calendars with Windows Live Mail?**".
