Dear NoviSellet, Microsoft is not interested in solving your problem, because your problem is not their problem. They develop software with only their needs in their mind.

I have the same problem you have and I perfectly understand what you are going through. But Microsoft employees don't care what your problems are.

I have the very same problem because I have millions of duplicate emails but I have to delete them one by one because these genius developers did not think of providing Windows live mail with a duplicate remover. Don't listen to them, don't ask them anything because they DON'T CARE.

Look at what they did with Windows 7 and windows 8 they completely destroyed an OS by removing stuff like the start button, the search button, they impoverished the whole software design.

In windows 7 they even removed the Show Desktop Icon. They design OS with their **** in mind.

    Pathetic.

    Dear Luz,

Duplicate Emails can be removed by going to the inbox or particular folders and deleting the duplicate emails one by one. But it would take a long time if one has 5000 plus emails. We need to have a tool which will detect duplicate emails and this Microsoft should provide  so that it can be easier.

    Regards,

    Novi

    Hi Ashraf Ali,

I apologize for the delay in responding to you and I'm glad to help you out with your issue on how you can remove duplicate emails on your Inbox in Windows Live Mail.

First off, here are the possible reasons why users like you are receiving duplicate emails:

    • The account is accessed on an email client or mobile phone.
    • The sender has send the email multiple times specially if he/she is having a network or server problems while sending the message.

I know that you do not want to re-configure your account in Live Mail but please make sure that you have properly configured your account for it can also be a reason why it is downloading duplicate emails on the said application. In line with this, I would suggest as well to please contact your email provider to verify POP3 or SMTP server and port settings which is why the previous moderator has suggested of it. To know how you can re-configure your account in Live Mail, please refer to the link he provided.

To remove your duplicate emails, all you have to do is manually delete it.

Feel free to post back if you need clarifications.

    Thank you.
