I think the best solution will be to remove the crimson software and use the laptop. So far I didnt have any reboots.
Event ID 20 - WHEA-Logger - AMD Northbridge
Since resolving an issue with my ATI Video Driver recently, I have started getting the following errors, once a day, which cause my system to restart unexpectedly.
I believe this to be a driver issue, even though it looks like a hardware issue.
When it happens, I am usually watching TV on it via my XBOX Media Center Extender.
Event ID 20 - WHEA-Logger
A fatal hardware error has occurred.
Component: AMD Northbridge
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: HyperTransport Watchdog Timeout Error
Processor APIC ID: 0
The details view of this entry contains further information.
My Computer is a Dell XPS 7100 with an AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Processor and ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series graphics adaptor.
All Dell diagnostics run cleanly and successfully.
Can anyone advise what to do to investigate further please?

2017-11-30T17:13:57+00:00 I've never had any indication of problems with the graphics driver. I just had one day where I had no administrative access until I was able to "restart" the computer properly. I wonder if some update didn't quite install correctly until I was able to accomplish that. That particular issue hasn't happened since, and Event Viewer didn't show any cause for that.
The sudden rebooting issue has occurred for me when I am using the Google Chrome browser, nothing graphics heavy going on and no stutter in performance or any indication of anything wrong. Just a sudden black screen and then the computer rebooted. Event viewer describes the cause as being what is described as the subject of this thread. I am hoping that disabling Fast Startup is the solution for my computer. :)

2017-11-30T15:34:26+00:00 I'm trying the fix of TDRDelay described in the link down below for 3 days and until now no problem yet, because I found that the graphics driver has stopped responding in some cases, right before the computer restarts.

2017-11-30T15:01:23+00:00 I had the problem again today, and I came across this possible solution, which may have worked for someone else.
I turned off "fast startup". I don't know if this will help or not. I have not been experiencing this issue often, so I won't know for a while if this helps or not until more time has gone by. I had this happen on November 20 and then again today.
I'm trying this option now. I will return when the problem occurs again (already with no expectations).
