Touch screen freeze/unresponsive LUMIA 920

I have been playing around with my phone last night taking pictures (the low light pictures are amazing)

and when I tried to unlock my phone this morning,

nothing of touch input seems to react,

even the buttons under the screen don't light up and do not respond on touch.

My power, volume and camera button all work.

Already did a few hard resets,

connected my phone to a computer hoping that would spark something

but nothing seems to work.

Anyone any idea what the problem could be and how to fix it

    I also face the same problem previosly . But i immidiate contact to my dealer shop where i have purchased this phone. He replace my cell phone with new one. I think you must do the same thing as i, if your cell phone is in Warranty.

    I bought my Lumia 920 about 2 weeks ago and the unresponsiveness only occured during use while charging. Now it just won't respond to any touch screen action. I tried all the reset button combinations and it reset the phone itself but the touchscreen still wouldn't work. Starting to doubt my decision to support Nokias Lumia line. Lumia 800 had problems galore, Lumia 920 is starting to follow. If it is a software glitch I only hope a solution comes out in time before I make a switch. Love this phone.

    I was following this 5s suggestion and may have accidentally also followed the 20s suggestion.  Whatever the case, it fixed my non responsive display problem.  Thanks!

    I have just return my 2nd 920 for the same issue. Now the shop where I ordered it, is no longer exchanging them as the issue seems to frequent.

    It is a very strange problem as it is not permanent, but seems to degrade with time. Soft/hard resets seems to fix it but only for period. It also some time fix itself alone (just waiting and suddenly the screen works again). I have tried to understand it and have a strong feeling that the touchscreen software is blocked by some other activity of the phone, in particular when the gsm network link is poor. For instance disabling FACEBOOK reduce dramatically the problem. I also noticed that the issue increase with the added apps. I suspect that some apps installed are also requesting data connection.

    However the conclusion for me, also I have tried to remain with Nokia phone, is that I am now switching to the competition. I could not support them further. For the time being I'm back with my N8, while I found another smart phone for me.
