And when running the Uninstaller doesn't work ( it still shows up in my system tray after uninstall) what can I do after that.
Help to get rid of the Iminent Virus
My grandson has picked up the Iminent virus on his Toshiba laptop.
Have tried to uninstall without success
Have tried to do a restore, again without success
It has also affected the AVG on his system, tells us it is trying to uninstall but does not
Any help please

Follow steps 1 thru 4 and if your issue remains use HitMan Pro Trial Version as recommended in step 5.
There are multiple solutions within this thread or you can start your own thread as suggested in the post of Bruce Hagen on October 1, 2014.

2014-10-06T15:47:33+00:00 I've performed the removal process but everytime i boot up, i have 2 issues;
(1) Iminent is still in the registry so i have to go into regedit to remove it;
(2) my internet options continue to default back to proxy and i have to reset it to "auto-detect".
any help here?
