And when running the Uninstaller doesn't work ( it still shows up in my system tray after uninstall) what can I do after that.

This was the most helpful with the following exceptions,

ie manage add-ons, no option to remove or disable .

control panel, uninstall - not listed

go to program files x86 delete folder

go to reedit and remove from local machine software and users software.

after that, you need to reset proxy setting that was hijacked (under connections and LAN settings) to automatically detect settings.

What operating system do you have?

Try Hitman Pro Trial Version: http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro   This program may be run from a flash drive if necessary.  If the malware prevents you from downloading Hitman Pro you may need to use Hitman Pro Kickstart which should  remove this malware and repair any changes that were made to the computer by the malware: http://www.surfright.nl/en/kickstart    You must use an uninfected computer to download it to a flash drive and then follow the specific directions on how to run the program on the infected computer.  Hitman Pro Kickstart is available as a 30 day trial version.

For further information see http://dl.surfright.nl/Kickstart-FAQ.pdf  and http://dl.surfright.nl/Kickstart-User-Manual.pdf

Iminent is a malicious redirect virus that could cause great damage to the compromised computer. Any removal delay may result in disabling the web browser/browsers. You could search some related removal instructions online or ask online virus removal experts for instant help.

IMinent is preventing from going online to download any of the recommended fixes.  Now what?
