How can I Remove my Unistalled Apps History From Windows Store ?

Windows Store Shows My Installed AND Uninstalled Apps in the Option [ YOUR APPS ].

I want to remove my Uninstalled Apps From this Option.

Please Help me.

Hi Idharam,

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to remove uninstalled apps history in the "Your Apps" option  from "Windows store". Correct me if I am wrong.

It is by design and it is not possible to remove the app history. It is used for your reference, the apps that you have uninstalled, so that you can install them in the future, if you require it.

    Again, when the thread was started ages ago, there were no options to manage....

    Now you can 'Hide' unwanted apps .... which cleans up the list to only those you use

    Perhaps there could be yet a deeper archive, but MS will never allow people to erase items completely....

    Yes, people should have control... I was initially annoyed by this myself (pre 'hide' being available)

    But - end users tend to complain about absolutely everything.... and while THIS request IS logical on the surface, it is the people who will delete things accidentally, and then call up MS and complain that MS did it.... and then post on forums that MS support is evil and they are all thieves  etc etc (we've all seen those posts)

    Complaints from those people who want to delete things is likely an easier pill that taking irate calls from those who claim 'it just happened' ... even if you DO put warnings in the terms....

    Another note - due to the way the store works for developers, a mechanism that allows purging of 'free' apps would also create issues .... prices and be changed and free can be made pay - this means more than just a couple of flags in a db to control ....

    Anyway - another 2 cents...

    • but what about freebie apps which were either installed by mistake or those we don't want to use anymore so why not allow us to fully remove those freebies as these cause issues for re-installing our Microsoft Store purchased apps. as we only end up uninstalling our purchases due to confusion & only to have to re-install these purchases again due to these unwanted freebies causing us issues/problems!

    I agree I got a couple of games that I will never play again along with other uninstalled apps and I want them off of my phone, so do these uninstalled apps take up storage space on my phone?

    no doubt I totally agree on that and it ticks me off big time!!!!! I don't think I will be getting any more apps cuz of that and now I'm considering going to the extreme of getting a new phone of another kind!! This is how angry i am over One issue n I agree WE want and NEED OUR STORAGE SPACE!! THIS REALLY STINKS PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO FIX THIS THOUGH I BET I WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT PHONE BEFORE THAT HAPPENS! THANX For EVERYONE'S HELP!!!!
