Hi Idharam,

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to remove uninstalled apps history in the "Your Apps" option  from "Windows store". Correct me if I am wrong.

It is by design and it is not possible to remove the app history. It is used for your reference, the apps that you have uninstalled, so that you can install them in the future, if you require it.

I hope the above information helps you.

So does this take up memory on my phone? Does it cause phone to keep telling me to delete files or apps due to the phone memory storage is full? Also I don't yet have a memory card in my phone so I wanted to be sure that the uninstalled apps wasn't the reason? This is my first smartphone and I have had it for over a year now so this was new to me when I couldn't figure out how to delete or dispose of them!

Okay thanks so much that helps but I think when I asked Cortana that it looked like there were responses leading me to think I could delete history. So my next question is does that take up any memory usage? ? ? Is it taking up space in my phone storage? My phone keeps popping up telling me to delete some files or apps and I'm wondering if this is why??

Hey fellas, this thread's been going for years. To date I have not heard any thing from Microsoft to say they will fix this. The thrust of Windows 10 is marketing through their store, and they have a hive of apps developers writing apps to entice people. Just gotta stop using the M$ Store. Try FileHippo.

    Hey,

Just doing a recovery on my phone and it had the question:

Do you want to install your previous apps?

I said yes, now it installs everything from the app history. All the crappy and fake apps I disappointed and some useful. Not allowing the user to delete it's history was bad decision, making the backup using that without asking what to install was too.

    Disappointed Customer
