How to Remove Sendori Malware?

Hello,

Does anyone here know anything about Sendori?  According to some it is a tool used to correct spelling errors, according to others it is a form of anti-spyware, and according to others it is a homepage hijacker.  I believe what I have is the latter as it has changed my homepage and degraded my browser performance.  I have heard that it is undetectable by AVG and I just did a full scan using Windows Security essentials and didn't pick it up.  I tried uninstalling through Control Panels - -> Programs and Features but could not remove it.  I am hesitant to use more radical methods to remove it such as deleting executables and .dlls or doing a forced uninstall using Revo Uninstaller as I have heard sometimes if you ARE able to remove it it will change your DNS settings upon removal.  Does anyone have any ideas?

You might also try this web site - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com - contains details for many of the common infections, often immediately after they began to appear in the wild, and instructions are provided for how to remove the infections using their malware removal guides. They also have forums where you can seek help from people who specialize in malware removal.

    I also was at first unable to uninstall Sendori.  I am now using Windows 8 which automatically gives you Internet Explorer #10. After following the detailed instructions that another person posted regarding the use of RUN and typing in "msconfig" etc., I determined finally that Sendori was the problem causing my Internet Explorer to be inoperable and gave me the error "This Page Cannot Be Displayed".  

    The uninstallation of it worked after I turned off ALL other programs (all security programs, NVidia, Weather Channel, etc.etc.) then did uninstall from Control Panel/Programs and Features.  First upon clicking uninstall it, I got a Sendori survey form asking questions about why.  After answering and submitting them, it was then able to be installed.

    NOW MY INTERNET EXPLORER FUNCTIONS FINE!!

    The Sendori application (or whatever was masquerading as Sendori) came bundled with some toolbars and other useless stuff as part of a Torrent download.  Almost immediately I noticed degradation of my browsing experience (slow, some web pages wouldn't load, would constantly get message "waiting for xxxxx.sendori.net" while waiting for a page to load).  I also experienced the same problem as AxiomX with being unable to stop it with Windows Task Manager.

    The uninstaller was designed to remove all components of the Sendori service.  However, some users reported problems with the uninstall program failing to complete in versions prior to 2.0.6.  If the uninstall process failed to complete please see the following post on our support site.
