Had the same problem and DiaconuDaniel's solution worked for me as well - took a while to recreate the index but then everything was fine - Thanks

If you turn off indexing it shouldn't function but then you have the drawbacks of a non-indexed hard drive.

You are brilliant! After about 30 trips to my BIOS wondering why the hell my CPU wouldn't downclock at idle, I found this page, followed your instructions and voila! It downclocks again!

Thank you for stopping me from pulling my hair out in frustration! :D
