I can't figure out how to remove it. Is that OK?
It should be... My search index has everything disabled and it still found over 150,000 "items." But it doesn't bother my CPU any more...

2014-04-14T11:00:58+00:00 Make sure all the locations are removed/unchecked. The window should appear empty when you go back in, like the one I posted earlier.
Don't forget, if you need a good search tool, try Search Everything from voidtools.com. I have that tied to Win+S and it is extremely fast. The only drawback is that while I'm logging in I have to allow it to continue (UAC). I'm sure there's probably a way to get that to stop asking, but I haven't found it yet (haven't looked very hard either).
