Had the same problem and DiaconuDaniel's solution worked for me as well - took a while to recreate the index but then everything was fine - Thanks

OK, I figured out how to remove items in bottom box.

I cleared all of them except start menu.

It won't let me do that. Is this OK so far?

OK, I got to this window. Indexed Locations.

Top box only had Internet Explorer History checked. I unchecked it.

Bottom box is Summary of selected locations:

    Content X6

    Documents

    Music

    Offline Web Pages

    One Drive

    Start Menu

    Users

    Visio Content

Then I clicked OK. Is this what you wanted me to do?

Then I did a restart because this page quite working.

Microsoft please please create a "Hotfix" for this issue. HP would be thankful as well as me.

Also HP Support said "We are so tired of this same problem". It's not an HP

Issue, it's a Microsoft windows Issue. It's not just me!!!
