Hi,
I'm using Win 7 (32 bit) with the MS arc Touch mouse software and drivers installed. Running on HP TX2 Touchsmart Tablet.
I'm facing a problem with my mouse with regards to the scroll function.
After "switching on" the mouse, there is a green led light and everything seems to work. The green LED then disappears, presumably to save battery.
However, after a short period of time, the scroll function will not work at all. There is no scroll "feedback" felt from the scroll strip either. But when I flatten the mouse and turn it back on again, everything works as per normal.
But after some time, the same problem resurfaces. Then, I have to turn the mouse off and back on again. Sometimes, the scroll function "turns" itself back on automatically. But most of the time, it just stops working altogether.
This is very irritating. It seems nobody else have encountered this issue.

I had to use a small screwdriver. The kind that is typical in electronic kits. Apparently, my nails are too frail. Otherwise, the instruction were spot on and the arc mouse still works after the procedure! :)
Will report back in a week. Usually, it failed after a few days of light use so a week should be a good indicator.

I have both the Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz Wireless Arc Touch Mouse and it both initially had the same scroll issue. I believe what it is, is it seems like the vibration mechanism seems to get stuck or the scroll touch pad loses connection with the contacts. Like what one of the previous replies had mentioned, try pressing down or squeezing the scroll touch pad. What I did was press it all along the scroll touch pad then turn off the mouse and turn it back on. The scroll now works and the vibration mechanism works too. You may have to press it hard to dislodge the vibration mechanism and once free, it seems to work great.
I've started having the same problem recently and it seems like my non-scroll issue has to do with if I leave my mouse out in my car in my laptop when it's cold. (unless it's low battery/ies, because usually the first thing to get spotty is the scroll)
The cold is really about the only thing (other than low battery/ies) that I can figure relates to the issues I consistently have with my scroll pad. If it stays inside in the warmth with good battery life left, it's all good.
Funny, I got my bluetooth arc mouse along with my Lenovo flex 2. My fix came by simply returning the old mouse for a replacement. The replacement works fine.
