Why does Windows 7 have typing problems?

When i type on the internet or on games, I often open new tabs or open other problems, simply by typing.  Sometimes what I'm typing will get erased, filled in with something else, or just won't get typed at all.  I was told this is a Windows 7 bug.

Reset Internet Explorer by going to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab>Reset. Reset all the settings. Also disable unwanted startup items. Disable startup items like dell data safe, dell support center etc. Restart your computer and you would notice that the keyboard would be working fine.

Haha everyone is saying it but I have to same problem. When I type so sometimes it deletes it or the cursor goes into another word I already typed. It is messing up as I am typing now and is really bugging me. I think it is a bug with Windows 7 because many people seem to have a problem with it. I have looked everywhere to try to solve the problem.

I have an ACER Aspire with Windows 7 and have the same problem.  I called customer support and the tech had me go to the Control Panel & in the upper right hand corner of the window click on Category then Small Icons and then mouse.  She had me change the pointer speed and the settings of the scroll speed and said this would change the sensitivity of the touchpad.  Let me tell you, this did not fix the problem.  I agree there is a problem with Windows 7.  I even had problems writing this.  The cursor skips backwards on me and inserts what I type in the middle of several words previous.  Annoying!  I really don't like this.  See my word several on this line?  The subsequent words really and don't all tried to appear in the middle of the word several. Heck I had to type the word subsequent 3 times as it kept breaking up.
