System Restore does not work and returns the following error 0x80070005:__

Unorthorized changes blocked controlled folder access, blocked c....\ Runtime Broker ex...from making changes to the folder %user profile%1  ?

How can this be fixed please

This exact same issue continues several years later and a few Operating Systems later.  I am running Windows 10 Pro and still get this exact same mesege when trying to run System Restore.

Obviously Microsoft is aware of the issues that are causing the problem but obviously ae not concerned at all for it's users as they have done nothing to fix this in all these years.  I have had it with Microsoft and their lack of respect for their Customers.  They got their money for the OS and any problems you have using it are your own because we are not ever going to do anything to fix these issues that have been reported for years.  The only things that are different are the Security Programs, OS Version and the date reported.  Everything else is exactly the same.  System Restore does not work and Microsoft is not going to do anthing to fix it in all these years.

I have bought my first Apple Product and am going through the pains of using a new product and OS.  But I am not ever going to buy another product from Microsoft until they start taking user reported issues seriously andmaking the necessary fixess to their Operating Systems.  It has been years of the same issue being reported and nothing being done to fix the error so people can do the System Restore simply and easily the same as they used to be able to do without all the unnecessary headache of removing this, turn off that, try this, etc.  FIX IT for once.  I for one have had it with the arrogance of a company than can care less about their customers.  They believe they have a captive audience because there are a lot of people that will continue to put up with the same issues year after year.  I for one will lear a new system instead of putting up with Microsoft and their Arrogant Attitude and refusing to fix bugs in their products that have been reported for years.  I hope they will make some fixes but am not holding my breath.

My laptop updated last night 8/7/17 now I cannot open any of my Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Publisher. I have done all of the above with no success

Well I was using windows defender and firewall, from microsoft.

Running win10 1607 64x getting updates and no issues until 5-3-2017.

Windows update would run but fail to download and stuck at 0% or file

to install where the update would just disappear.

So installed bullguard premium protection due to reading about a major flaw

in windows a few days ago and a nasty virus going out(may have been too late).  

All my 3rd party programs like steam, origin, uplay internet worked fine, but nothing

from microsoft worked, updated or installed, all getting not connected  to the 

internet messages.

So uninstalled bullguard and tried to run system restore but every time failing with

error 0x8007025d.

When starting system restore I noticed that the current time is showed was two hours faster

than my system clock ?

It also said I could undo the last restore just done, why would this be offered if it failed ?

Have reinstalled the lan adapter, reinstalled, shut it off completely, been offline, no

changes.

Tried to install a usb wifi adapter, message that the driver install was blocked by an administrator,

I am the administrator, and the only person using a microsoft account ( no locale account).

When I was checking the services I found many login settings to be 1) local login) 2) network

3. nothing, yes nothing at all.

I do remember that right before this issues I got a message that I needed to set my apps to work across this device, never checked it off.

Of the 4 pcs I use this is the only one with uefi bios and the one with the most issues.

Maybe microsoft  needs to see that sync settings across devices does not work when systems are completely different from each other.

But who am I to know my hardware, MS knows what is best for us all monkeys.

My devices are not on a domain but win10 continues to set the network on each pc to be on a domain controller.

This is after setting this manually, restarting the pc and what do I find, back on a business domain controller.

On 1607 updates to 5-3-2017 fine, after this date, everything went down hill with partial and failed updates.

Part of the system on one version of win10 part on another, MS apps, store, Xbox win10, feedback app, network 

connection fails, internet connected and fine with chrome, steam origin etc.

System restore points fail with error 0x8007025d, MS account login to the system fine, installing a wifi adapter 

locked out by administrator ( I am the administrator).

UEFI bios, only one of 4 devices, legacy bios no issues.

System drive 2tb, 1.4 tb free, space not an issue.

So looks like win10 has to be installed about every 6 months to have it stable.

Not on insider previews.
