i did the recovery procedure on my laptop but got msg..

As you mentioned that Windows is slow, I would suggest you to run this Microsoft fixit and check if it helps.

Please also run Microsoft safety scanner to check for any virus or malware which may be causing the issue.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

    Hi!! I had a similar problem, and used the sfc/scannow option, but it resulted that It detected that some files were corrupt, but couldn't fix them,  and indicated that the complete list of corrupted files is available at: windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.  I couldn't access this list, since I don't have the symbol key required to produce a backslash in sfc, I copied it from insert symbol in word. How can I proceed now to fix my problems?
