i did the recovery procedure on my laptop but got msg..

As you mentioned that Windows is slow, I would suggest you to run this Microsoft fixit and check if it helps.

Please also run Microsoft safety scanner to check for any virus or malware which may be causing the issue.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

    Hello, I am having the exact same problem I stupidly downloaded something and trusted this website:  http://www.sevenforums.com/attachments/tutorials/242232d1353365535-hidden-files-folders-show-hide-show_hidden_files_folders_and_drives.bat

    someone help please! i'm going down..... this computer is not acting well. I have tried system restore twice. I have tried sfc/scannow and get messages saying this error is not fixed. 0xc0000022 Any response appreciated.

    Hi, i have the same problem as jaxduffer. tried in many ways: turned off the security software, did run the System File Checker, choose various restore points each time but still the same message; after System restore is complete and windows re-starts.

    please help!!!!!

    My Windows 7 Starter slowed down dramatically after I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox.  The advanced boot option Directory Services Restore Mode did the trick!  Thanks.
