i did the recovery procedure on my laptop but got msg..

As you mentioned that Windows is slow, I would suggest you to run this Microsoft fixit and check if it helps.

Please also run Microsoft safety scanner to check for any virus or malware which may be causing the issue.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

    1. I was trying to do System Recovery after I got the error <explorer.exe>  0xc0000022. A popup said that this error was the reason that I could not log into Windows.
    2. I was getting this message at initial logon the day following a normal session, with normal shut down.
    3. I got no errors during recovery. I got no errors trying to restore WOS. However (due to rewite of registry) all applications were deinstalled, and I needed 1061 updates to be installed to my WXPproSP3 disk version.

    I was starting Windows for power off, and entered Windows password, and got this error related to windows explorer.com.

    The result was that I could not logon to Windows from a power off state.

    Very helpful answers. My problem is that the Canon PIXMA MP640 will print everything EXCEPT emails in my Windows Live Mail. Printing results are good but with emails all I get is a unintelligible language.
