To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem. I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it. They put in a fix that worked. Microsoft. It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.
Cursor jumps around while typing
In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

I had the same problem on my HP 630 laptop and all I did was disable the touchpad and it has been doing fine ever since. Hope this would work for you.

2015-09-03T21:36:36+00:00 Well I started to have the same problem all of the sudden so I unplugged my mouse and disabled my touch screen but the problem still existed. So I went in to my device manager and uninstall my Logitech Download Manager and my keyboard stopped working as I thought it would. Low and behold my cursor stopped moving.
I unplugged my keyboard and logitech mouse and installed my Vaio hardware instead.
Bingo no more cursor jumping around and I am getting some work done :)
FYI, I had this configuration for 4 years without a problem, I suspect that it might it a hardware cliche or maybe a virus.
Anyway I am happy again.
Good Luck!
