In every application on my computer, my cursor jumps around while typing. I can not type fast because I have toconstantly bring the cursor back to where I am typing (just did it again right now). Something is wrong and needs to be fixed. I am not technical and have no idea how to fix or what forum this question belongs in. Please advise.

To all who have been having 'cursor jumps around while typing' problem.  I had the same problem and had my Sony VAIO support team help me with it.  They put in a fix that worked.  Microsoft.  It would be beneficial if you could contact Sony regarding this problem and access to the solution they put in place for me, since they seem to have found a solution to the problem.

I really think people are just grabbing at straws here and really do not know what to do. I appreciate the effort, but in the mean time has Microsoft been actively seeking a solution, since it is their software? I find I have the most control when I disable the mouse indicator arrow with the button in front of my space bar on my Toshiba 13" laptop. This shouldn't have to be done every time a person needs their mouse. It's aggravating, slows work down and is just not right. It does not matter if I am in MS Word, typing on eBay or trying to insert my bank account username, it's cursor let's just jump all over the place and delete half the already inserted fonts. What a pain!!!

I have a sony vaio laptop and am experiencing the same problem while typing.e  It is not restricted to any particular application.  It seems to me that there may be a virus that hasn't been identified yet because it is happening to people who have a variety of different computer makes and models... Microsoft, please work on seeing if there is a keyboard virus or something like that where a hidden key click is being inserted or something.  Just a thought.  This has been going on for quite some time now and I think it is time for Microsoft to take it seriously.
