My taskbar keeps disappearing randomly and will not come back until I restart.  Once I restart the taskbar comes back and then disappears again. I have looked at the other solutions from people having similar problems and the solutions do not work.

open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del, click Task Manager)

Click on File>New Task (Run) and enter "explorer.exe" (without the quotes)

Then click OK.

Does it come back?

The fix I found was simple, right click on the task bar.. select "properties" and the second check box displayed is titled "auto-hide taskbar".. mine was checked, so i unchecked it and hit apply.. issue resolved

My antivirus found that Internet Explorer has a virus and it fixed it. From that moment, it started disappearing... I opened the task manager and tried to end the process and delete those files manualy but the process keeps appearing again and I cannot delete those files. This is probably some kind of virus.... :p ^_^ :)

Try completely removing the screen saver. I found out that my screen saver was the cause of the bar disappearing. Removing the screen saver will eradicate the issue of it disappearing in general.

    Hope this helps! :)
