since few days, the notification bell icon (rated/answered comments from media articles, new followers, etc ), smartphone icon and microsoft reward icon in the top-right corner of edge default home page (the one with daily news, weather, etc) all vanished, i have only the parameters icon available.
all notification are checked "on" in microsoft start config page.
and the icons appear without problems in the differents press articles pages, the missing icons problem seems to occur only in the edge new tab default page.
how to get the icons back???

Just curious... why are you using an ad blocker? I quit using one with Edge LONG ago. Edge blocks everything w/out one. Proof... I have no ads (nor Pop-ups), even w/out an added ad blocker.

It must be nice not to see ads without an ad blocker. I switched off all ads, but I still got them. Ad Blocker Plus solved that annoyance.

Not sure how resetting everything worked for you.I reset everything and lost all my account information. I still did not get the notification bell back. So resetting did not work for me.
Sorry to hear that, it's super frustrating for sure. I have had to sign back in to a lot of things and reactive my ad blocker. No telling what else I'll find to do that got switched off.
This is the current state of the NTP w/ my choice of settings/options; (all Off, except Weather). The NTP has been recently cleaned up of what some might call clutter.
Microsoft Start is, now, MSN. It was recently re-branded, whilst keeping the same functionality.
Hitting the MSN logo @ the top-left > the Feeds page; shown in default condition.
This and the gear give the same thing(s), namely, select (your) feed items...
Same here. It was gone then back for about a week now gone again. I wish they would fix this issue.
